What Ulsav Is

Ulsav is a platform for running events and selling tickets. An organizer creates an Event, sets up the Passes people can buy, takes payment, and lets people in at the door. Ulsav keeps the money records and the attendance records behind all of it.

You do not need to know how it is built to use it. You do need to know how the pieces fit together, because almost every question an organizer asks — "why can't I publish?", "where did that refund go?", "who is allowed to do this?" — is answered by one of these seven areas.

• An Order is not a Registration. An Order is money. A Registration is a claim on a Pass. One buyer can pay for four people, and all four are separate Participants.
• Publishing is one-way. A published Event never goes back to draft. You archive it, or you cancel it.
• What happened is frozen. Once an Order is confirmed, the prices, taxes, and fees on it stop changing — even if you change your settings later.
