Setting Up SSO Login

Organizations can set up their Single Sign-On (SSO) Provider as an authentication mechanism on their event portals. When configured, users will be able to use their organization’s SSO identity to securely and seamlessly sign up and login to the Ulsav event portal.

The event portals can either be fully restricted to only use the SSO login, or the SSO login can be offered alongside other available authentication mechanisms. SSO authentication mechanism is not supported for standalone events.

  • Give discounts & sell special passes - Passes can be setup to be only available to SSO signed-in users, and hence
discounted passes, early-bird passes, insider passes etc. can be created exclusively for the organization’s SSO users.
  • Restrict access - The portal entirely (thus, also events) or otherwise passes can be restricted to only for organization SSO users.
  • Verification & Duplicate Account Prevention - Through SSO authentication, user accounts on the Ulsav event portal can be seamlessly verified, and this also prevents users from sharing auth credentials, creating multiple accounts for availing discounts, etc.
  • OAuth 2.0 Provider
  • client_id, client_secret
    • redirect_url set to https://<portal_slug>.ulsav.com/oauth/<provider>
