Event: Participation Mode
Ulsav classifies and groups events based on how it is attended by the participants into 3 participation modes — in person, online and hybrid. Every event on Ulsav to be published must be accurately categorized into one of these three participation modes.
In Person
Section titled “In Person”Events in which participants need to physically attend the event at a venue should be set to In Person events.
- The location of the event needs to be set, and optionally its venue too.
- Event & Event Passes can be added to
CheckIn Sessions, and check-in can be performed for the registered participants of the event.
Hybrid
Section titled “Hybrid”Events in which participants can either attend in person physically at the venue or otherwise also participate online
should be set as Hybrid event.
- The location of the event needs to be set, and optionally its venue too.
- The event and its event passes can be added to
CheckIn Sessions, and check-in can be performed for the registered participants of the event.
Online
Section titled “Online”Events in which participants can only participate online should be set to Online event.
- The location of the event is optional for online events, and setting venue is disabled.
CheckIn Sessionscannot be created for the event or its event passes, and check-ins cannot be performed for the participants of this event.
